Abstract
PURPOSE: To automatically charge a storage battery carried on an unmanned conveying truck by detecting the set voltage of the battery and guiding the truck to a charging place.
CONSTITUTION: When charging is necessary for a storage battery carried on a conveying truck, the truck is guided to charging line 12 by work guiding line 11 to detect deceleration and stop signals before a charger 13 to thereby decelerate and stop the truck. The signal is so applied that the truck will stop at the position where a current collector 14 provided underneath the truck corresponds to the charger 13. When a detector 15 detects stoppage of the truck, the battery is charged by the charger 13 through the current collector 14.
