Abstract

PURPOSE:To stop a carrier truck on a fixed position on the ground side without using a mechanical position correcting device by executing the inching traveling of the truck up to the fixed position by an inching command after allowing the truck to enter the detecting area of a fixed position detector. CONSTITUTION:When the stop position of the carrier truck is not included within a regulated value, a positional shift direction detecting part 13 decides the direction of inching correction by the polarity of a signal inputted from the fixed position detector 10. On the other hand, an inching command time setting part 14 detects the size of a shift from the fixed position of the truck and selects a proper time out of previously set inching command time in accordance with the detected size. The outputs of these detectors are inputted to a command output part 15 and the command output part 15 outputs a direction command and an inching command appropriate for stopping the truck on the fixed position for a traveling controller 2 for a fixed period to execute the inching traveling of the truck. Consequently, the carrier truck can be correctly stopped on the fixed position.
