Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a bent pipe with high dimensional accuracy through least possible processes according to a bending work which is available by means of a cope divided into plural piece and a drag provided oppositely thereto for giving outline of the bent pipe.
CONSTITUTION: In divided copes 16, 17, 18, 19, those 18, 19 which work for many portions to bend are divided minutely, a drag 20 is provided to cope with these divided dies, and a cavity between them is selected so as to give a given outline of a bent pipe. A hydraulic pressure is applied onto a material pipe 3 in the cavity, and thus rams 12, 13, 14, 15 fixed on each divided cope come in operation, thereby forming the pipe 3 to a given shape through cope and drag.
