Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible that operational feature of guide vane is fully exhibitted by applying reasonable materials to whole guide vane in such a way that blade and bearing support ports only are made of anticorrosive and antifeictional material, and that shaft part is made of mild steel.
CONSTITUTION: Blade part 1A which is kept in contact with flowing water and bearing support parts 2A, 3A which are supported in water mill casing are integrally made of anticorrosive and antifrictional material, while shaft 4A is made of mild steel having enough mechanical strength for transmitting rotational force from guide vane mechanism to blade part 1A, and outer end of bearing support part 3A is fixed by welding to one end of shaft part 4A. Thus, materials are reasonably made of use as a whole, so that operational feature required to guide vane can be fully exhibitted.
