Abstract

PURPOSE: To effect the reduction in material cost and the simplification of assembling work by forming the grooves at the outer periphery of the thrust discs which cover the axial end and fitting the sealing members between the grooves and the rotor can to obtain the sealed structure.
CONSTITUTION: Grooves 92, 102 are formed respectively at the outer periphery of thrust discs 9, 10 being inserted from the both ends of a rotary and abutted to stepped portions 81, 82 of the shaft. In those grooves 92, 102 fitted are sealing members 16, 17 such as O-ring, and they are abhered closely to the inner periphery of a rotor can 11. By so ding, a rotor 7 is maintained at the airtight condition. In such a way, there is no loss of materials as the rotor can 11 is cut beforehand into the same length as that at completion, and the assembling process can be simplified because there is no necessity for welding the rotor can 11 to the thrust discs.
