Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of filling, by accelerating the flow rate of mixture in case of low speeds by mounting the second throttle valve, which closes when an engine is in low-speed low load, to a stream lower than a throttle valve of a carbureter and by installing by-suction passages with thin diameters in shapes that bypass the second throttle valve.
CONSTITUTION: The second throttle valve 14 opening-and -closing controlled by means of a diaphragm device not shown in the figure is mounted into a suction passage 19 located at a stream lower than a throttle valve 12 of a carbureter 11 while by-suction passages 18, 20 with thin diameters are installed in parallel with the suction passage 19 in shapes that bypass the second throttle valve 14. The valve 14 is closed when low-speeds, when the difference of the suction negative pressure of the both chambers of a diaphragm not shown in the figure becomes not less than fixed value, by introducing suction negative pressure before and behind the second throttle valve 14 to both chambers. Thus, mixture flows through the by-suction passages 18, 20 when low-speeds, and the flow rate is accerelated.
