Abstract
PURPOSE: To flow and secure non-molten metal powder into the bonding part of more than a permissible clearance together with a melting and flowing brazing material and achieve the decrease in defects by mixing brazing material in the non- molten metal powder and setting the same in the clearance of the members to be brazed.
CONSTITUTION: Non-molten metal powder 1 and powder brazing material 2 are mixed in a powder binder 5. Next, the members 3, 4 to be brazed are opposed in the clearance 6 larger than an ordinary permissible brazing clearance. Thence, the foregoing mixed brazing material is set in the clearance portion and is heated to the melting point temperature of the brazing material 2. Then, the brazing material 2 melts and flows into the clearance 6 owing to capillarity. At the same time, non- molten metal powder 1 is moved into the clearance 6, whereby the clearance is buried and secured.
