PURPOSE:To prevent an inner wall of incinerating furnace from adherence of melted substances and improve combustion efficiency by providing guide vanes near small holes of air headers provided on an inner peripheral wall of an freeboard of the fluidizd bed furnace so as to form screens of cool air or cooling gas in good conditions. CONSTITUTION:Air headers 1 are provided on an inner peripheral wall of an freeboard 2 at a plurality of stages and openings 7 for ejecting cool air or inactive cooling gas, which are opened so that ejecting directions thereof become parallel with the wall surface of the freeboard and formed to be slits or continued small holes, are provided at the lower surfaces of the air headers. Guide vanes 3 are formed to be annular skirts in correspondence with annular air headers 1, accordingly, cooling gas passages for ejecting cool air or cooling gas are also formed in annular shapes, and thereby, cool air or cooling gas may be ejected uniformly through clearances 8 formed between the inner wall 2 and the guide vanes 3.
