Abstract

PURPOSE:To electrically sense the irregularity without mechanical sensors, by sensing the irregularity of a pulse motor from the variation of a current flowing through the coil of the pulse motor. CONSTITUTION:The variation of the input current flowing the coil of a pulse motor 2 is input to a differentiating unit 10. A pulse generator 5 generates pulses when the output of the differentiating unit 10 crosses a threshold value. A gate 11 is closed during the period the pulses from the pulse generator 5 is inputting, eliminates the increment of variation caused by the variation in the phase of the exciting coil, and sends out only the increment of variation in current caused by the rotation of a rotor. A wave-form converter 13 is turned on when the output of the gate crosses zero on the way from the positive side to the negative side. A comparator 14 receives the outputs of the wave-form converter 13 and the pulse generator 15 and sends out a signal E0. The irregularity of the pulse motor is sensed by the signal E0.
