Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure an assured visual recognition for the varying part of the subject by detecting the varying region of the TV picture image and then adding the boundary signal displaying the varying region to the picture image.
CONSTITUTION: The difference is produced at subtraction circuit 4 for each picture element between the signal obtained by giving the A/D conversion to the signal sent from input terminal 1 and the signal memorized in field memory 3. Then this difference signal is calculated via variation detecting circuit 5 with partition every region decided previously to detect the image variation of one region. After detection of the varying region, control circuit 6 indicates the writing of the picture signal of the next frame into memory 3. Varying region display signal generation circuit 7 memorizes the varying region and also produces the region boundary signal showing the varying region. At additon circuit 8, the boundary signal sent from circuit 7 is added to the still picture signal read from memory 3 and then undergoes the D/A conversion through D/A converter 9 to be delivered to the TV monitor or the like through output terminal 11 in the form of the analog signal.
