Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit granulation and drying by a simplified operation in which a liquid substance, e.g., a solution, from spray nozzle provided at the upper part of a vertical tower is sprayed, hot air is supplied downward in parallel with the spraying direction, and then the granulated particles are regulated by the movement of a moving bed.
CONSTITUTION: Hot air is guided through the path 9 from the heater 11 to the diffusing plate 7 at the upper part of the tower 1 and then blown into the lower part of the tower.
