Abstract
PURPOSE: To make an above-titled clutch compacter and lighter in weight and to simplify the construction by forming an internal gear on the hub of a reversing rotor, engaging the gear with a sun gear through planet gears, and enabling taking- out of reverse rotation through a normal rotation rotor.
CONSTITUTION: With an exciter coil 9 supplied with power, a normal rotation armature 3 and a normal rotation rotor 5 magnetically attract each other, and a rotation equal to the rotation of an input shaft 1 is taken out as a normal rotation from an end flange 16 of a pipe shaft 6. When the power supply is changed over to an exciter coil 11, a reversing rotor 8 (of which the hub is formed with an internal gear 24) and a reversing armature 21 magnetically attract each other, and the reversing rotor 8 (which is rotated reversely by the rotation of the shaft 1 and a sun gear 27 through planet gears 26) and a reversing armature 21 rotate integrally with the rotor 5, so that a reverse rotation is taken out from the flange 16 of the pipe shaft 6. By this constitution, normal and reverse rotations can be taken out through the rotor 5, the axial length of the clutch can be reduced to make the clutch compacter and lighter in weight, and the structure can be simplified.
