Abstract

PURPOSE: To measure continuously and rapidly the FeO value of product sintered ore by directly supplying grate protecting bed ore screen-classified in a sintered ore manufacturing line to a FeO permeability measuring unit.
CONSTITUTION: Grate protecting bed ore 7 classified with screens 2, 3 is introduced into shoot 9 and continuously supplied to FeO permeability measuring unit 10 set at the lower part of shoot 9. A high frequency current is supplied to permeability detecting coil 102 around measuring cell 101 from constant current oscillator 103 to measure a change in FeO content of ore 7 as a change in permeability. This permeability change is converted in accordance with the correlation between preset permeability and FeO value to continuously measure the FeO value of product sintered ore. Density detector 14 is set at the upper part of coil 102, and according to the signal the feed vol. of constant feeder 12 is regulated through constant feed sequence 15.
