Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the measuring accuracy by incorporating a member having a self-compensating function into a pressure receiving portion.
CONSTITUTION: A capirary conduit 14 at a pressure receiving portion 2 which is connected through the conduit 14 with a pressure converting portion has its end portion receiving the capacity compensating member 26 such as a pipe, which is formed with an inner hole 28 having a larger diameter than that of the other portions and which has a smaller thermal expansion coefficient than that of the capirary conduit 14. Thus, the pressure surface of a pressure receiving diaphragm 6 contacts with a hot fluid so that the pressure is transmitted through a pressure transmitting medium 8 to the pressure converting portion. Then, the volumetric expansion difference between the conduit 14 and the member 26 expands a gap 29 to an extent corresponding to the expansion of the medium 8. And, the expansion of the medium 8 is accurately absorbed so that it is not introduced as an error in the pressure data.
