PURPOSE: To obtain a steel plate having an excellent adhesion property and which is suitable to make enamel coated steel products which have a prominent strength even after one time enamel coating, by adding both P and Cu to the steel in a specified amount in additon to C and Mn contained in the steel in a normal rate as in decarburized steels.
CONSTITUTION: This enamel coatings suitable steel contains 0.05W0.10% of C, 0.15W0.50% of Mn, 0.010W0.060% of P and 0.015W0.060% of Cu, in which the ratio of Cu to P is fixed within a range of 0.7W1.5:1, and the rest is substantially composed of Fe.
