Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a printing mechanism for printers which mechanism is capable of decreasing the power consumption of a solenoid by reducing the bounding of an actuator of which the contacting portion and that of an actuator stopper are inclined with respect to the straight line obtained by interconnecting the contacting point and rocking point of the actuator stopper.
CONSTITUTION: After the supply of exciting current is stopped, an actuator 15 is driven counterclockwise by the energization force of an actuator resetting spring 18 to contact with an actuator stopper 19. The actuator 15 makes small bounding because the actuator stopper 19 is inclined in about 40° and a material for decreasing contact force is used as the material thereof. Thereafter, the actuator 15 returns to standby position, and next the trigger lever 11 returns to standby position. Because of the small bounding, the actuator 15 does not engage the trigger lever 11 with a ratchet 14 again so that double printing is prevented.
