Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect the failure of a pantograph at an initial stage by means of simple devices, by detecting the breading of air pipes in flux shapes by mounting a flux detector to an air piping system.
CONSTITUTION: An air reservoir 31, and air piping 32, a discharge pipe 33 of pressure air from the air reservoir 31, an air piping 34 branched from the discharge pipe are installed to an air compressor, a magnet valve 35 for releasing a constraint key is insertion connected between the piping 34 and an air piping 31 for supplying an air cylinder 20 for releasing the constraint key with pressure air, a pressure regulating type safety valve 36 is connected to an air piping 37 further branched from an air piping 25 branch connected to the air piping 21, a flux detector 38 is mounted to a duct of the air piping 21 and the flows of air produced due to the breaking of air pipes are detected by means of the flux detector 38. Thus, the failure of a pantograph can be detected at an initial stage by simple constitution, and the pantograph can cheaply be remodelled.
