Abstract

PURPOSE: To get an effective hydraulic controller, by compensating a reduction in the braking force, due to a trouble in a hydraulic circuit for braking front wheels,by interrupting the reducing hydraulic function of rear wheels.
CONSTITUTION: Pressure oil from an output port M1 is fed by means of a master cylinder to the front wheel brake and pressure oil from an output port M2 is fed through an input oil chamber 3, valve port 6 and output oil chamber 4 to the rear wheel brake. Initially the oil pressure of the rear wheel brake is equal to the output of the master cylinder. As the oil pressure rises further, the oil pressure in a control pressure chamber 2, that is the oil pressure of the master cylinder, acts on the receiving surface at the large caliber portion 11a of an elastic control piston 11 to gradually move a valve piston 8 to the right and finally isolate both oil chambers 3, 4 from each other. Since the piston 11 is gradually deformed to fill up an empty annular chamber 13, the effective receiving area S1 is reduced and the pressure reducing ratio increases.
