Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct the speed while maintaining the mass balance of stands at a constant level, by reoperating in a way to decrease the other stand speed limit values when the operational value of a certain stand speed exceeds the maximum speed limit value. CONSTITUTION:For instance, when the speed command operational value of F5 stand exceeds the maximum speed limit value, the output of a speed controller 135 operates the deviation thereof in a sign inverter 165 and an adder 155C. This deviation is reoperated so as to be added as a successive signal for F1-F4 stands through the adder 155D, so that the speed command values of F1-F4 stands are decreased. Similarly, a correction signal is given to the speed command values of F6-F7 stands through adder 155E, reverse successive controller 145 and adder 155F. By this control method, since the speed of each rolling mill is decreased only by the minimum required value, the speed level of the entire rolling mill system may be raised.
