Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely detect a body, by transmitting searching pulses to obtain a received signal, applying the received signal and the low-band component of the signal to a subtraction circuit, indicating the output of the circuit and holding the level of unnecessary reflected waves down. CONSTITUTION:The transmitted pulses are reflected on the body and received by an antenna 2. The received signal is applied to an amplifier 4 through a transmission/reception switch 3 so that the signal is amplified. The amplified signal is supplied to the subtraction circuit 7 and a low-pass filter 5. The output of the filter 5 is applied to the subtraction circuit 7 through an amplifier 6. The subtraction circuit 7 generates an output signal removed of the low-band component of the received signal. The output signal is sensitivity-adjusted by an amplifier 8 and then displayed on a cathode-ray tube 10.
