Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide occasional checking procedure for operation of sound release type measuring system in such a way that imitation sound is released from sensors, and a filter disposed in electric signal transmitting circuit of the sensors eliminates imitation sound pulses for checking operational condition of sound release type measuring system.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of sensors 5 are disposed in a predetermined interval on object to be measured. If any defect is produced on the object so as to release sounds, sensors 5 will detect the sounds and generate electric signals corresponding thereto. These signals are applied to amplifier 8 through filter 7 which eliminates imitation sounds generated by imitation sound source 1. Output signal from amplifier 8 is transmitted through main amplifier 9 and filter 10 to processor 11 consisting of a section which analizes the output signal by hardware system and an interface section of a calculator, resulting that various indications are displayed on CPU 3 based on the calculated data by processor 11 so that location of defect can be determined.
