Abstract
PURPOSE:To remove dust even in the operation of a reactor, by utilizing uneven gas flow reversely. CONSTITUTION:One or more of movable vanes 4 are provided at upstream of the reactor 2 to permit gas flow to be adjusted. The adjustment is made at normal operation to allow a uniform gas flow to pass into the reactor 2. When dust-containing gas is treated and the deposition of dust is produced, the movable vanes 4 are rotated to allow the gas flow to generate nonuniformity and variations. The rotation of the vanes 4 varies the location where high-speed gas flow prevailes, thus generating the effect of soot blowing.
