Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for controlling gas flow rate, wherein a control disk is arranged, the control disk being divided circumferentially into eqaul parts in which a plurality of passage holes are arranged for passgin gases, thereby permitting selection of a desired set of said passage holes to change respective gas flow rate progressively.
CONSTITUTION: A control disk 11 is divided circumferentially into eqaul parts each of which has a plurality (for example 4 as shown in the drawing) of passage holes suitable for a gas, and is provided with a control rod at the center thereof so that a plurality of passage hole are selected for a certain gas by rotation of the control disk. A stationary disk 15 has a slot which can be associated with a set of passage holes for a certain gas, and can be fixed to the outside of a body frame. A movable disk 16 having a V-shaped notched portion, the surface of the movable disk 16 abutting on the control disk 11, the V-shaped notched portion being capable of associating with a set of passage holes, has a control rod at the center thereof so that when the movable disk 16 is slided on the surface of the control disk 11 the passage holes can be opened or closed.
