PURPOSE:To enable a tester staying in a center station to make tests of all subscribers' terminals, by sending the analog output of a decoder back to the analog input terminal of a coder on receiving a command signal from the center station. CONSTITUTION:Command signal 1 is transferred from the center station to MPU (microprocessor) 13 via high-level data link controller 17 of subscriber's terminal 1'. Then, MPU13 operates control circuit 22 to close switch 21. Next, voice packet 3 for tests is transferred from the center station to MPU13 via controller 17. After performing the fixed process of the packet, MPU13 transferred coded signal 4 to decoder 16. Here, signal 4 is converted into analog signal 5, which is sent back to coder 12 via switch 21. Then, signal 5 is converted into coded signal 6, which is transferred to MPU13.
