Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the change of developed images with time by separating toner once from sleeve surface by a toner isolating member and conveying the toner then supplying the same again to the sleeve surface by gravity fall.
CONSTITUTION: In the conveying method of one-component magnetic toner of holding and conveying the toner 3 supplied from a containing vessel 5 by the developing roll consisting of a non-magnetic conductive cylindrical sleev 1 and the magnetic roll provided therein, a toner isolating member 10 is provided in proximity to the sleeve 1 surface and the toner 3 is once separated from the sleeve 1 surface and is conveyed by this, after which the separated toner 3 is allowed to make gravity fall from the isolating member 10 and is supplied again to the sleeve surface 1, whereby it is conveyed.
