Abstract
PURPOSE: To cast the casting which ls covered with l on the outside circumferential surface of the product by disposing two sheets of film-form l plates within molds and force feeding molten metal between the l plates.
CONSTITUTION: Two sheets of film-form l plates 1, 1' are placed parallel between molds 2, 2' and the positioning hole 3 opened in the l plate 1' is engaged onto the pouring port 4 of the mold 2'. Next, molding clamping is done, after which pressur is applied to molten metal 5 and the metal 5 is force fed between the l plates 1, 1' through the pouring port 4 to pressure contact the l plates 1, 1' to the inside walls 2b, 2b' of the molds 2, 2' whereby the casting product covered with the l layer on the outside circumferencial surface is obtained. If necessary, the surface of the l layer is turned to alumite, whereby the product which is inexpensive and is combined with rust prevention, corrosion resistance, rigidness, decorativeness, etc. may be obtained.
