Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain pressure-sensitive copying paper which is composed of a lower blank coating pressure-sensitive coloring matter dispersed in wax on the upper surface and an upper blank coating special acid containing mixture on the lower surface and is capable of spot printing without contaminating others. CONSTITUTION:When water soluble adhesives such as ethylcellulose, etc. wax such as carnauba wax, etc. and sheets are acid, alkali matters are mixed with pressure sensitive coloring matters such as 3,3-bis(p-dimethyl aminophenyl)-6-dimethylphtalide and the mixtures are dissolved on dispersed in plastisizers or organic solvents and kneaded and then a lower blank is produced by coating the kneaded matter on the lower surface of a substrate sheet. On the other hand an upper blank is produced by coating on the lower surface of a substrate sheet the acid responding to a pressure sensitive coloring matter kneaded with plastisizer and wax of the same kind mentioned bofore.
