Abstract
PURPOSE: To automatically accomplish the attachment and detachment of a cover, the addition of a solution and the rinsing of a container so that the solid sample may be dissolved under a high pressure and at a high temperature by mounting a closed container on the leading end of an arm which is circumferentially rotatable.
CONSTITUTION: The system is composed of: an arm 2 which is rotatable about a vertical axis, which has three circumferential stop positions and which has a chuck 3 having its leading end openable; a hot plate 4 which is disposed at the first stop position; a cover attaching and detaching device 5 disposed at the second stop position and having a mechanism for turning and raising the chuck 3; a liquid injecting and rinsing device 6 disposed at the third position and equipped with both means for injecting a dissolving liquid 35 and a rinsing liquid 36 and means for extracting a liquid sample; and a sealed container 5 having a body clamped at its outer circumference on the leading end of the arm and a container cover screwed into the body. The driving operations of the arm 2, the chuck 3, motors 19 and 29, a pump 40 a three-way valve 30 and a valve 39 are sequentially controlled to make preset processes automatic.
