Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the misconnection troubles as well as to facilitate an easy connection by securing an automatic decision of the polarity of the signal line which transmits the signal row of the RZ long code system and thus receiving the correct signal at the terminal unit. CONSTITUTION:The signal which defines signal line l1+ and l2- each is supplied to one input of AND gate G1 as well as to the other input via charge/discharge circuit T1 and buffer BF1. In the same way, the signal defining signal line l1- and l2+ each is supplied to gate G2, and these outputs are supplied to OR gate G3 to be processed through logic circuit M. Circuit T1 is the serial circuit of the resistance diode and the RC parallel circuit. When the signal of signal line l1+ and l2- is correct, the correct signal output is obtained at the output of gate G1 with the output of gate G2 turned 0. If the signal features the opposite polarity, the state is also reversed. Thus the signals of either polarity are supplied to circuit M through gate G3, and as a result, the trouble caused by the misconnection through construction can be avoided.
