Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently cut a glass plate by mounting the plate on a table provided with an inclining mechanism and by drawing a cutting line on the plate with a running glass hard cutter.
CONSTITUTION: Glass G is put into the lower part of glass pressing mechanism P, and air cylinder 72 is lowered to press glass G from the surface with a pressing rubber roller. By actuating motor 52 glass G is allowed to arrive in chuck hand 104, chuck lever 106 is loosened to shift hand 104 to the chuck finish position, and lever 106 is locked. Next a hard cutter in automatically-running cutting mechanism M is set to a predetermined position to draw a cutting line on glass G with the cutter. By actuating air cylinder 91 inclination table 81 is inclined to perfectly cut and separate glass G at the cutting line, and lever 106 is loosened to take out cut glass G.
