Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily efficiently perform opening work for a vessel, by pushing up the vessel, attached to a vessel cradle and intermittently fed, toward a rotary edge, cutting off the unnecessary top part of the vessel with the rotary edge, and then automatically taking out the vessel.
CONSTITUTION: After formed, a vessel 6 including an unnecessary top part is fed to a cradle 7, and then a rotary stand 2 is rotated to shift the cradle 7 to a position 76. The top part 6a of the vessel is pushed down by a vessel-regulating mechanism A to accurately hold the vessel 6 vertically on the cradle 7. Thereafter, the cradle 7 is shifted to a position 7c, and a vessel-supporting hand 9 is pushed up by operation of the air cylinder 18 of a vessel-shifting mechanism C to press the top part 6a of the vessel onto a rotary edge 15. Thus, the top part 6a of the vessel is cut off. The cradle 7 is then shifted to a position 7d, and the vessel 6 is let fall into a shoot 21. Accordingly, the vessel-opening work can be easily efficiently performed.
