Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a high-voltage bipolar output depending on an input voltage by combining the output of a first inverter transformer and the output of a second inverter transformer.
CONSTITUTION: The output voltage Vs of a static inverter SINV is always constant with regard to an input voltage Vin, and the output voltag Vv of a variable inverter VINV varies linearly with regard to the input voltage Vin. Therefore, the actual voltage VH, which is the result of overlapping the output voltages Vs and Vv, varies linearly from the positive value to the negative value. Furthermore, the output voltage Vs of the static inverter SINV is made variable by adjusting a variable register VR1, and the output voltage Vs can be shifted between (a) and (b) as shown in the Figure.
