Abstract

PURPOSE: To readily obtain a decreased voltage of about 1/n and to economize electric power consumption by the use of n pieces of capacitors having an equal capacitance.
CONSTITUTION: Capacitors 8a to 8c having an equal capacitance are connected to a battery 1 through transmission gates (hereinafter called TG) 10a to 10c in series. TGs 9a and 9b are so arranged to connect the other sides of capacitors 8a and 8b to the negative side of a battery 1. TGs 9c and 9d connect the other sides of the capacitors 8b and 8c together, and TG 9e connects an output capacitor 11 and a load 12 and the other sides of the capacitor 8b and 8c. In this constitution, a decreased voltage which is inversely proportional to the number of capacitors can be readily obtained.
