Abstract

PURPOSE: To attempt reduction of luminous flux deterioration, while preventing separation of coating, by spreading electronic radioactive substance containing scandia such as lanthana etc. which includes a designated oxide, over the electrodes installed on both ends of luminous tube, confronting each other.
CONSTITUTION: Each of electrode 2a, 2b arranged on both ends of luminous tube 1, confronting each other, is built in such a way that an electrode component shall be composed of electrode core 10 made from heat resisting metal such as tungsten etc, inner coil 11 and other coil 12 wound around this electrode core 10, and electronic radioactive substance 13 shall be spread and fixed over the oil surface of this electrode component.
