Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the tangle or twist of the coaxial wires at the antenna companding time by providing the feeder interruption part to separate the feeder of the transmission/reception side from the coaxial feeder connected to the very high frequency antenna provided at the tip of the medium short wave antenna. CONSTITUTION:Wire 10 formed by covering the antenna coaxial feeder for the very high frequency with the flexible tube. This wire 10 is taken up to take-up part 7 when the antenna is pulled in for storage. The coaxial feeder is divided into antenna side part 11a and transmitter/receiver side part 11b, which are connected together or separated independently via the coaxial feeder interruption part. The feeder interruption part composed of connector components 22 and 25, and energizes solenoid 33 attached to attachment plate 30 fixed to case 5 at the companding time of the antenna. As a result, component 25 is shifted via plunger 34 and arm 32, and plug-in terminal 27 is separated from pin terminal 21. When the companding of the antenna is over, solenoid 33 is deenergized to insert terminals 21 and 27.
