Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the workablility and crack resistance of a dry transformer by simultaneously molding to insulate the terminal protion of coil elements in necessary number with resin and immersing and hardening immersed resin at high strangth fiber layer portion of the coil elements.
CONSTITUTION: After necessary number of coil elements are loaded in a mold, the terminal portion is simultaneously direclty molded to integrally form both lead wire protion 4 and high strength fiber layer portion 6 of the coil elements 5. Resin is then immersed with the coil elements 5. In order to further reduce the occurrence of stress due to the thermal expansion coefficient difference between the fiber layer 6 and the terminal molded resin 2, the thermal expansion coefficient of the terminal mold resin is set within 15 times the high strength fiber layer immersed with resin in layer direction an lower than that in perpendicularly direciton to the layer direction. As a result, a plurality of coil elements can be simultaneously molded to thereby remarkably improve the workability and crack resistance.
