Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid occurrence the malfunction caused by the continuous noise level for the detection circuit for the pulse noise contained in the radio reception signals by varying the detection level of the pulse noise according to the gain control. CONSTITUTION:The input signals of the high frequency component of the continuous noise such as the pulse noise, the white noise and the like are applied to differential amplifier circuit 2, and the output is applied to full-wave rectifier circuit 27 and 28. And the output of circuit 27 is applied to continuous noise level detection circuit 29 to generate the gain control signals according to the noise level, and the pulse noise in the output signals of circuit 28 is detected by detection circuit 30. Current I4 identical to the collector current of transistor 22 flows to driving transistor 44 of circuit 30, and transistor 8 and 9 are controlled by the gain control signals. By-pass transistor 41 conducts according to current I4, and the detection level of detection transistor 38 varies. As a result, the noise level increases to increase the gain control signals, thus the detection level being increased.
