Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve frequency stability without degradation of the characteristic by using an amplitude comparator and a carrier wave gain controller where the control input is connected to the difference components output of the comparator above through a base band amplifier. CONSTITUTION:The AM wave input applied to terminal 1 is detected by diode 14 connected to terminal 11 of amplitude comparator 9, and this detection output is compared with the AM wave comparison input applied to terminal 12 by differential amplifier 16, and the difference voltage between them is output to terminal 13. Since this output includes AM components. AM components are input to carrier wave gain control circuit 10 as the control input through base band amplifier 4. The output of carrier wave oscillator 6 is subjected to gain or attenuation according to the output voltge of amplifier 4 and becomes one input of comparator 9 to constitute a negative feedback circuit. Consequently, if a part of the output of controller 10 connected to comparator 9 is taken out from terminal 2, a good AM signal which is the almost same signal as the AM signal applied to terminal 1 and is not degraded and has the same frequency stability as oscillator 6 can be obtained.
