Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent breakage and cracking of a separator and to reliably separate and sent out separators one by one, by separating the separators loaded in a hopper by means of reciprocating motion of a sliding member provided with a friction plate.
CONSTITUTION: Separators 2 are set in a hopper 1 with one side of the separators being placed on a pawl mounted on the hopper 1 and the other side on a sliding member 4. A pair of friction plates 6, 6' are mounted on the sliding member via links 5, 5' for parallel vertical movement. A soft rubber sheet 7 having cylindrical projection on the upper surface and a sponge rubber layer on the lower surface is bonded on the surface of the friction plates 6, 6'. The sliding member 4 is reciprocated by the oscillating movoment of an oscillating lever 8. The lowermost separator among the separators 2 set in the hopper 1 is contacted with the friction plate 6 by the stacked separaters, and the separators 2 can reliably be separated and sent out through a gate 11 by the reciprocating motion of the sliding member 4.
