Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable arbitrary feeding from any of the upper and lower side of the loaded sheet by arranging two rollers on which the parts having different surface frictional coefficient are arranged reciprocally on both sides of a conveyance path and selectively driving only one of two rollers.
CONSTITUTION: A feeding roller 24 and a separating roller 25 are arranged oppositely through a one-way clutch. When feeding from the uppermost part of the loaded manuscripts is desired, a knob 52 is operated to revolve revolution shafts 20 and 21 anticlockwise. Due to the action of the one-way clutch 22, also the feeding roller 24 and the separating roller 25 are revolved counterclockwise. If the manuscripts heaped-up are put between rollers 24 and 25, the lower manuscript is returned to the loading part 8 by a separating roller 25 having smaller frictional coefficient. On the contrary, feeding from the lowest manuscript is performed, the knob 52 is pushed down clockwise, and a control gear 45 is contacted with a gear 34, then the separating roller 25 and the feeding roller 24 are set upside down.
