Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a silicone resin compoaition curable at room temperature and having improved strogage stability, by compounding a composition comprising a hydroxyl group-containing organo-polysiloxane, an alkoxysilane and an aminoalkylalkoxysilane, with an alkoxy group-containing organopolysiloxane.
CONSTITUTION: 100 parts by weight of a hydroxyl group-containing organopolysiloxane I (R1 is monovalent hydrocarbon; n is 0.80W1.80; p is ≥3, etc.) is mixed with (A) 0.5W150 parts by weight of an alkoxy group-containing organopolysiloxane II (R2 is monovalent hydrocarbon; R3 is alkyl; a is 0.40W1.70; q< 3, etc.), (B) 1W150 parts by weight of an alkoxysilane III (R4 is monovalent hydrocarbon; R5 is alkyl; C is 0, 1, 2),(C) 0.1W20 parts by weight of an aminoalkylalkoxysilane IV (R6 is H, alkyl or aminoalkl; R7 is divalent hydrocarbon; R8 and R9 are alkyl; d is 0 or 1) and if desired (D) orgainc solvents (pref. xylene, etc.).
