Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a polysiloxane composition having high compatibility and transparency, and useful as a chief material of a textile smoothing agant, by compounding a specific diorganopolysiloxane and a mineral oil.
CONSTITUTION: A transparent, highly compatible composition composed of (A) 1W99 parts by weight of a diorganopolysiloxane of formula I (R, R' are univalent hydrocarbon, e.g. R is methyl and R' is methyl or phenyl; R", R''' are 5W20C alkyl; n is ≥5), (B) 99W1 parts of a mineral oil pref. having a viscosity of ≥5cs at 25°C, e.g. liquid paraffin, pasty vaseline or solid paraffin, and if necessary, (C) a dimethyl polysiloxane oil wherein both terminal groups are blocked with trimethylsilyl group, waxes, etc.
