Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve its combustibility as well as to engender swirls in the combustion chamber in such a way that a main chamber and an auxiliary chamber respectively allocated ignition plugs in the combustion chamber when a piston it at top dead center.
CONSTITUTION: A main chamber 26b and an auxiliary chamber 28a are formed and an induction groove 29 to conduct between the both chambers is provided by respectively providing recessed parts at the top part of a piston 22 facing against an air inlet valve 24 and an exhaust valve 27. And, in concurrence of allocating respectively ignition plugs 30a, 30b in the both chambers 26b, 28a with delaying ignition in the main chamber 26b in comparison with the auxiliary chamber 28a, swirls of strong combustible gas are engendered in between the both chambers.
