Abstract

PURPOSE: To previse abnormality of the amplitude in such a way that driving condition of a rotary machine is divided into plural bounds, and predictably operation of the time unitl it leads from vibration amplitude variation of said bound to the next bound.
CONSTITUTION: Vibrating signals 6 from a turbine 1, a dynamo 2 detected by a vibration detector 3 are converted to electric signals 7 corresponding to the vibration by a signal converter 4, which is taken into an electronic computer 5. The electronic computer 5 predicts and forecasts the time until it leads to the discrimination of existence of abnormality or requisite attention by using existent bivration amplitude and its variation, and monitors the amplitude and amplitude variation which are related to frequency content previously connected with abnormality.
