Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the filter cloth for back filters which permits high speed filtration, permits dust shaking-off of reverse pressure or reverse pressure pulsation system by low pressure, provides high dust collecting efficiency and is adaptable even to large-size dust collectors.
CONSTITUTION: Cotton form synthetic fibers 2 composed primarily of, e.g., polyester, are provided as web on both sides of a core base cloth 1 as a center and are compression bonded into the foregoing base cloth 1 through punching by needles. The synthetic fiber non-woven fabrics, for which ones of size 0.5 to 1.5 deniers are used, are compression bonded and formed to the core base cloth at METSUKE weight 350 to 450g/cm2, thickness 0.8 to 1.2mm, mean pore diameter 10 to 20μm, voides 70 to 70%, air permeability 10 to 15cc/cm2, sec., and the surfaces thereof are smoothed.
