Therefore, the screw or bolt is immersed into a mineral acid such as hydrochloric acid, or nitric acid, or an org. acid such as citric acid or oxalic acid in order to dissolve and remove the excessive Al 5 and to expose plated layer 2 of Fe-Al alloy. The plated layer is excellent in heat resistance and corrosion resistance, and its thickness is hardly increased more than needed, consequently no crack due to thermal stress is developed.
