Abstract
PURPOSE:A high-speed printing device wherein a large amount of ink mist generated is fed to the printing portion by so setting an air feed-out port that air flows into an ink mist passage through an ink mist source or its neighborhood. CONSTITUTION:The take-up portion 18b of a mist ditributor 18 is extended into a mist generator 17, with a gap (through which air flows) between the portion 18b and the peripheral wall 17a of the mist generator 17. Air is fed into the mist generator 17 through a conduit 20, and flows in the direction of the arrows. The inlet of the take-up portion 18b faces close to the surface of an ink solution 22 contained in the mist generator 17. Thus, the ink mist formed from the ink solution through the vibration of tremblers 19 is sucked up by the air and forcibly fed into an ink mist passage. As a result, the ink mist is effectively fed to the printing portion without creating small convections.
