Abstract
PURPOSE: To lenthen the arrival distance by stabilizing the jet stream of water at nozzle outlet by forming a water drain nozle with a rectifying portion consisting of rectifying lattices, a throttled portion with a throttle curve consisting of two circular arcs, and a straight-tubular jet.
CONSTITUTION: The water drain nozzle consists of the rectifying portion 1, the throttled portion 2, and the jet 3. The rectifying portion 1 is provided with the rectifying lattices 11 and 12, and the throttled portion 2 is designed in a L/D ratio of 1.0 to 2.5(where L is the length of the throttled portion l and D is the diameter of inlet of the protion l). In addition, the axial curve of the throttled protion l consists of two circular arcs along the straight line connecting both the inlet and outlet diameters of the throttled portion so as to make design and engineering easier. And, the jet 3 is designed in a straight-tubular form and thereby the sectional speed at the exhaust port of water drain nozzle is made uniform, fluid in the form of stable bar- like jet stream is jetted, and its arrival distance is made greater.
