Abstract
PURPOSE: The title composition for flame-retardant articles to be coated, having improved weatherability and adhesivity to substrates, prepared by incorporating an organic halogen compound and an inorganic filler with a copolymer containing cyclohexyl vinyl ether.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 100 parts by wt. of a copolymer having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.1W2.0g/dl, measured by using a solution in tetrahydrofuran at 30°C, consisting of (a) 30W70 mole% of a fluoroolefin, preferably tetrafluoroethylene, (b) 5W70 mole% of cyclohexyl winyl ether, and (c) 0W45 mole% of other comonomers, preferably an alkyl vinyl ether having a 2W6C alkyl group, is incorporated with (B) 0.1W100 parts by wt., preferably 1W50 parts by wt., of at least one type selected from organic halogen compounds, e.g. a chlovinated paraffin, and phosphates and (C) 1W200 parts by wt. of an inorganic filler. Preferably, the copolymer is used a solution in an organic solvent.
