Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the title composition giving a coating film having excellent chemical resistance and heat resistance, by compounding a hot-melt fluoro-plastic composed of a tetrafluoroethylene or a chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer, a phenolic antioxidant, an organic sulfur compound and an organo-tin antioxidant.
CONSTITUTION: A composition composed of (A) 100parts by weight of a hot-melt fluoroplastic comprising tetrafluoroethylene or chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer, and (B) 0.05W10parts of heat stabilizers consisting of (a) a phenolic antioxidant and (b) one or more compounds selected from organic sulfur compounds and organic tin compounds. The weight ratio of (a) to (b) is pref. 1:5W5:1. The particle size of the heat stabilizer is pref. ≤70μ. The composition is suitable for the thick coating, and has a wide allowable range for the temperature and time of application.
